Kalamunda Christian School Musical Hits All The Right Notes!

Selected students from Kalamunda Christian School (KCS) played to large crowds across two nights (15 and 16 September 2022) at the Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre (KPAC) in a remake of the ‘The Velveteen Rabbit’.

The students danced and sang their way through a classic story of a stuffed rabbit’s desire to become real through the love of her owner.

The superb production was the culmination of three terms of after-school practices led by KCS teachers Mrs Carrie Burne, Mrs Kate Rimmer and Mrs Anne Wheat.

KCS Principal, Dr Gregg Weaver (who attended both nights of the performance) was impressed by the theatrical talent displayed by his students and thanked the teachers and parents involved who have donated many hours to see the students shine.

The performance has become an annual event at the KPAC venue and attracts grandparents and family friends to the dramatic nights.

Foundational staffers, local pastors from churches and KCS alumni were on hand to see this year’s offering.
