The addition of a new provider for SCEA’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) will help to serve SCEA staff further when support is needed.
The EAP program is designed to service employees who may need support when mental health issues arise, family crises or high-pressure situations call for intervention from health professionals.
This time of year can be a busy and stressful time for staff in our schools and the Head Office, and adding this fifth provider will allow staff more options when booking appointments.
For staff unfamiliar with the EAP, it refers to the confidential and solution-focused external counselling service available to SCEA employees.
A number of these sessions can be accessed directly by the employee, with the fees covered by SCEA.
SCEA employees can engage with five different Christian EAP providers as part of the benefits of working in our organisation.
