Our beautiful Mrs Maria Price, who was the Executive Assistant (EA) to the Principal at Mundaring Christian College (MCC), had her last day on Earth on 21 May 2024, following a recent battle with cancer. Maria’s husband, Mr Stephen Price, is the Head of English at MCC and her daughter works in our SCEA school system.
She is now with our Father in heaven, with no more suffering or pain, and we know nothing will separate her from the love of our Father. Maria began at MCC in 2022 and managed the administration teams across both campuses. She brought an extensive wealth of knowledge, experience, and faith to our community.
Staff remembered her as a selfless woman who filled their lives with love, laughter and always cared for others with the heart of a servant. Maria worked extremely hard behind the scenes to help develop the growing culture of the College and will be remembered for her passion and ability to make everyone feel special.

We loved her while she was with us and the depth of faith and support she gave to us all. The great joy of faith is we will see you again, our deep sadness now because we miss you. “Maria was a wonderful colleague, friend and leader in our college community. She always made time for people and had a way of creating spaces where people felt heard and seen, often praying for people and providing counsel when needed as people naturally gravitated towards her. Maria was servant hearted and carried a joy in her eyes and a sense of peace that she found in her King Jesus into every room she walked into. She will be missed but will forever remain in our hearts.”
