Enterprise Agreements ‘roadshows’ are now complete as voting begins today!

Negotiations around Enterprise Agreements for both Teachers and Support Staff have ended.

The roadshows are now completed.

Voting will open this morning for teachers who are part of the SCEA Teachers’ Enterprise Agreement 2025 and close on Monday 4 November 2024.

For Support Staff, voting will open on Monday 28 October 2024 and close on Wednesday 6 November 2024.

All staff are encouraged to vote as part of this process.

The “roadshows” across each of the SCEA schools have allowed SCEA staff to ask questions, understand each part of the proposed changes and take the time to discuss them.

Dr Graeme Cross (Chief Executive Officer – SCEA), Mr Nick Wood (Chief Operating Officer – SCEA), Mr Matt King (Chair of the Staff Committee), and Mr Sidney Rajanayagam (Chief Human Resources Officer – SCEA) have visited schools and the SCEA Head Office to present details of the proposed Agreement and respond to any questions.

Here is the schedule that has been followed to ensure that all SCEA staff are consulted about these changes:

10 October 2024, 3.30pm: Southern Hills Christian College
14 October 2024, 3.30pm: Ellenbrook Christian College
15 October 2024, 3.15pm: Swan Christian College
21 October 2024, 3.30pm: Beechboro Christian School
22 October 2024, 9.00am: SCEA Head Office
22 October 2024, 3.30pm: Northshore Christian Grammar School
23 October 2024, 3.30pm: Mundaring Christian College Secondary Campus
24 October 2024, 3.30pm: Kalamunda Christian School

Dr Graeme Cross presents to staff this week at Mundaring Christian College (MCC) Secondary Campus in Parkerville.

Once the voting has been completed, we will be sure to report the results and outline the process moving forward.

In a previous edition of SCEA News, Dr Cross outlined a number of the positive changes in a short video.

For those who could not attend the roadshows, that video is available HERE.
