As the festive season approaches, SCEA schools are coming alive with the joy and celebration of Christmas!
From nativity plays and carol nights to giving initiatives and creative decorations, students and staff embrace the season enthusiastically, reflecting the heart of our Christian community.
Mundaring Christian College (MCC)
Year 11 students in the Children, Family and Communities (CFC) course made a difference through Operation Christmas Child, delivering 65 shoeboxes to Samaritan’s Purse. With MCC families’ support, they raised $1,861.41 after two terms of planning, fundraising, and collecting, including a successful Bunnings Sausage Sizzle.
During their excursion, students also helped repack boxes, spreading joy to children who had never received a gift.
The festivities were abundant at MCC, from Christmas-themed assemblies to Christmas Hamper Appeals.
The Christmas spirit is alive and well at MCC!

Southern Hills Christian College (SHCC)
Students from Year 1 and Year 2 displayed their creative side with their Christmas crafts in Mrs Lueur’s class.
The students depicted the story of the birth of Jesus through their art.
The staff at SHCC also enjoyed a Christmas-themed morning tea hosted by the local church, Centrepoint Church Byford Pastor Mrs Lisa Rossi.
The morning tea was an amazing display of generosity and Christmas joy!

Northshore Christian Grammar School (NCGS)
Trinity @ Northshore (the school-based Playgroup) wrapped up the school year with a festive Christmas celebration.
The festivities included Christmas craft stations, face painting and a present exchange.
Students from Year 1 and Year 3 have been busy with Christmas crafts this year, using their creativity in making Christmas stockings and snow globes.
With the annual Northshore Christmas Celebration just around the corner, the Alkimos community is definitely getting into the Christmas spirit!

Ellenbrook Christian College (ECC)
The College recently hosted a Christmas Music Recital, showcasing the incredible talents of students across all year levels.
The evening featured a joyful mix of traditional carols and contemporary pieces.
The primary school choir also recently visited Ellenbrook Central Kmart to celebrate the opening of the ‘Salvation Army Wishing Tree’ with a Christmas Carols performance.
The occasion saw a considerable turnout, with lots of support from parents and Ellenbrook locals.
The heartwarming performance from the young carolers left the audience filled with festive cheer.

Kalamunda Christian School (KCS)
Students Neave and Henry won the Donna Faragher’s (MP) Christmas Card Design Competition!
Neave’s design will be professionally printed for distribution to Ms Faragher’s constituents, and Henry’s design will be used for electronic distribution.
All entries will be on display at Ms Faragher’s office in Guildford.
Congratulations to these budding artists and to all students who participated in showcasing their creativity and festive spirit!

Beechboro Christian School (BCS)
Year 1 and 2 students organised a delightful Christmas picnic and concert.
Students and staff were treated to a wonderful performance by their talented Year 3 orchestra and the Little Voices choir.
The event was a huge hit within the Beechboro community, and guests thoroughly enjoyed the amazing musical talents of the students.

Swan Christian College (SCC)
Held its annual Community Carols night last week.
The festivities throughout the night included performances from various choir groups of all ages.
SCC families and staff all sported their best festive attire and joined each other on the SCC campus for the Christmas celebrations.
The event was an unforgettable night filled with Christmas cheer and uplifting carol performances.
