The opportunity to come together as a SCEA community to celebrate the 2025 school year will take place at Riverview Church in Term 1, Week 4, with new and existing staff spending the day giving thanks for the new school year.
This is one of the highlights of the year for our SCEA staff, as we gather as one to hear from engaging speakers, enjoy fellowship together, and focus on what God is doing in our schools each day.
Many SCEA staff will now be familiar with the full-day SCEA Celebration program, and 2025 promises to be the biggest event ever!
This SCEA Celebration Day will run from 8:30 am – 3:30 pm and feature SCEA Transformation videos, communal worship, keynote speeches and breakout sessions in the afternoon.
Riverview’s excellent facilities will allow ample parking, and their coffee shop will be open from 7:30 am.
Our keynote speakers for 2025 are Dr Ian Lambert (Principal – The Scots College and former Principal – Swan Christian College), Dr Rob Loe (Director of Research and Learning Innovation – The Scots College) and Mrs Rachel Thyer (former Chaplain – Swan Christian College and mother of four children!)
Our day will also include the ‘SCEA Milestone Awards’ for long-serving staff members.
Dr Graeme Cross (Chief Executive Officer – SCEA) will be presenting the Strategic Plan outline for 2025-2030, and a new segment that features short videos from each of our SCEA schools will also showcase the plans for the 2025 school year in each of our locations!
